6th ANNUAL WORLDWIDE WALK FOR WATER
March 1 – 31, 2023
ONE MONTH. ONE GOAL.
CLEAN WATER FOR EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE.

Around the world, waterways are contaminated with chemicals, waste, plastic, and other pollutants.

Currently, 844 million people on our planet lack access to safe, clean drinking water and over 200 million are walking an average of 4 miles per day to gather water.

By 2050, almost half of the world’s population may face water shortages. Trees absorb water and release it into the atmosphere—the average tree breathes out 250-400 or more gallons of water in one day
